Phoenix Mystique

Phoenix Mystique is a singer/songwriter/poet born & raised in Boston, MA. She has been a resident of Philadelphia for 15 years and has honed her performance skills in various venues such as The Clef Club, October Gallery, Art Sanctuary, 7165 Lounge, Sole II Sole Restaurant, Soulstock Music Festival, African American Museum of Philadelphia and at various coffeehouse / lounge gatherings and community festivals. Phoenix has graced the stages of the West Oak Lane Jazz Festival, Lancaster Ave Jazz & Arts Festival, Liberty Music Fest, Vegan Soul Fest (Baltimore, MD) as a Background Vocalist for other local artists such as Vic Da Pain, Pheralyn Dove, Nadira Norjahan and Jahzara The Jewel. She has also collaborated with Weez the Peeples and Sistahs Laying Down Hands.

Outside of the performing arts, Phoenix is an entrepreneur with two growing enterprises. One, a collection of handmade accessories and home décor, Phoenix Rising Earth Knits, and the other a line of vegan baked goods & desserts, P.M. Munchies. Phoenix is also a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor and preparing to enter training to become a Doula, as her other interests lie in women’s health, birth work & activism. Like the mythical bird indeed, Phoenix is poising herself to reach new heights of artistic expression and self-actualization.
